Sandblasted Grapewood, 18". This twisted wood makes a wonderful alternative to Manzanita and is extremely beautiful as a centerpiece. Mounted vertically, the horizontal branches are perfect for hanging votives and adding flowers or other material. Also works horizontally..
All of our natural wood products, such as grapewood and manzanita are
not treated with any chemicals, paints or solvents (except where noted
in the description) and are safe for pet habitats.
Humid Climate Notice: Storing sandblasted grapewood in an enclosed box
will result in mold development. They MUST BE stored in a cool, dry
location with air circulation. There are no returns or refunds for
pieces with mold.
Grapewood wire: Grapewood comes from vineyards throughout
California, and is grown on wire-strung posts. As the vines grow, the
grapewood often envelopes the wire, and sometimes sections of wire
will be found with some pieces (visible or not). If the wire can be
easily removed, our staff will remove it. Otherwise, you can use
strong wire cutters to remove any visible sections.
Natural Branches: Consistently Inconsistent!
When purchasing natural branches such as Manzanita, Curly
Willow, Birch and Grapewood, keep in mind that they are unlike other decorative
branches used for floral design. Each one is an individual shape and
sculpture, and may take on a variety of shapes and variations. Most
professional centerpieces are created using several branches to achieve a
full look, so always consider purchasing additional pieces or fillers.
This needs to be a first consideration when purchasing your branches. It's best to order your branches all at once.
If you place an order today, and another order in a week, you will
nearly always see a difference in the product. This is because the
harvest areas change every 2-4 days, resulting in changes in the
harvested product. No two harvests are ever the same.
